I just found out from a comment that

The Magdalene Gospel by Mary Ellen Ashcroft is currently being made into a movie. It is in the Development stage now with a production company in NYC.

This is good news.  The Magdalene Gospels will put the pseudo-history of the Da Vinci Code to shame and hopefully raise more productive forms of controversy.

ps, I’ve decided that I am going to become an Ingmar Bergman fan.  I just watched his movie, The Seventh Seal, and loved it.  I loved the images of community/death, the verbal play, the scenes where the people look to Jesus on the Cross(and unfortunately lash out at their flesh) as the struggle with the inevitability of death, the serious questions asked, the commentary, the filmography of Bergman and the swedish blondes, but It’s all good you know, yah, sure you betcha.
