Hard work

Sitting on your butt in an office all day is hard work. No, really, it is!
You’ve got the pressure of learning a new computer system and a new way of doing things, while you have everyone helpfully trying to tell you what to do, how to do it, and sometimes countermanding other people.

Ah, the joy of learning a new job.
Thoughts about how much easier it would’ve been to stay where I was at: three.
Thoughts about how happy I am to be somewhere else: three.
Thoughts about how it’d be nice to win the lottery so I wouldn’t have to work, but that only works if you play the lottery: At least twelve.

It is hard work, I agree. And when you consider how fat we office workers get from the lack of exercise, how our eyes weaken and die in their sockets so much quicker, you become more appreciative of how much we really sacrifice for our work.
“tis true. Matt, you’ve gained, what, 300 pounds in the last two years? And you used to be such a sharp young man.
They call me Matta the Hutt here at work, now. I have a little monkey that sits on my desk and jabbers, and I stuff fat, slimy toads into my craw while yanking the chain of my belly dancer. It’s hard work! But we’re making progress.
Oohhhh hooohhh hooh. Ahh hahh hahhh.
