Feel that breeze

I’ve got a couple of windows open right now. I was putting away books (miracle of miracles, but I’m using unpacking to avoid other things), and I got too hot. It’s probably not terribly warm outside, but the breeze feels nice. The sunshine, through the clouds, is also nice. See, it’s not sunny here all the time, either.

Seven more boxes of books now unpacked. Some identified for bookcrossing. Some still languishing in boxes. No more room for bookcases. What a terrible dilemma. I bet I can narrow them down some more. :(

  1. What is the temperature range in the Fresno area anyway? Summers are probably in the high 90’s, right?

I could look up the exact temperatures, but I think the lowest temp it tends to get is right around the high 30s to low 40s. There’s almost never any snow, only very bad fog, during the winter. The last time it snowed was four years ago, according to what I was told.
And as for the summer, I think 90 might be a cool breeze sort of day. I guess it probably gets as hot as 110, or something. Not terribly pleasant. The tired, running joke is, but it’s a dry heat. Yeah, the response is, but it’s still hot! And basically over 100, it’s just really hot, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s a wet or dry heat. It’s killer.
It doesn’t rain a lot either, but either it’s abnormally raining, or maybe it just rains towards winter, because it’s been raining. I guess they don’t get much rain, at least during the summer, I’d bet.
