It must have been ten years ago at least when my mom and I visited my brother at the Atwater Air Force Base. I recall ears popping and a very rocky creek. Not much more. I wanted to save those for when I had a nice digital camera. And it seems at this point in the season, it'd be a better idea to wait for spring anyway, because snow might make some stuff impassable. Another thing that I want to do is simply be able to spend more time there, like at least a whole weekend. I don't think you can do any of those places justice in a day trip. I think we're probably going to buy a national park year pass just so we can go when we want, and so if people visit, we can take them there too. I think it'll be worth it in no time. But plans are definitely on for Yosemite, and Sequoia/Kings Canyon. I can't wait. Haven’t been to Yosemite. Didn’t go into Sequoia yet, either.
