They’re after me

I’ve developed a new theory. Shopping carts are following me.

I was at work the other night, and zen navigated the labyrinthine building to a place I’ve only been to twice. On my way out, I see a small green cart from Mervyn’s.

The carts have made it inside the building! If I look behind me… stop… there might be one inching toward me now.

They’re very clever, these shopping carts. I’ll have to keep an eye on them now.

And I saw them up at Yosemite, at the Yosemite Village store. Not just in the store, of course. Outside. And they were quick, too! Nothing like going out to be with nature and seeing a shopping cart.

Don’t forget the shopping cart mailbox on the way to Kings Canyon. She’s right, Todd–they’re following her.

  4. Ah, it’s just like buying a different type of car (or piercing your nose): you start seeing ‘it’ all over the place. Pretty normal :).

I think there’s a term for that in pscyhology, but I could never remember what it was.
