I don’t often have violent dreams. Or at least, not on this magnitude. Not where I’m the perpetator of the violence, exacting vengeance.

I mostly have no words to describe seeing trees so magnificently ancient and huge. As usual, did things in a quick, half-assed way, so we didn’t get to see the largest tree in the park, the General Grant, even though we were in the General Grant grove. There’s always next time.

Went for a drive to Kings Canyon today to see some sequoias, the giant, awe-inspiring trees. It had to be an abbreviated drive; it takes an hour and a half to drive about 60 miles. We basically stopped and looked at some trees and went right back down the mountain.
