I love Flickr. It has given me a place to share my photos, not just with my friends, but the whole world. I’ve found my photos used in blogs and for community photojournalism.
I set up all my photos to be Creative Commons. And recently, I was approached to give permission to use one of my photos for a book cover. The compensation: a complimentary copy of the book, Os dominios de Golgur (translation Golgur’s dominion). I am told it is a fantasy book written in Galician. Which means I will never be able to read it.
I got my copy yesterday. Still can’t read it. Still cool.

that’s awesome! you’ll have to bring the book when you come back to Hickville in September so I can look at it and not be able to read it either.
wow, that’s pretty lame. The title of your blog is “42 dreams of Arizona Bay” and I keep posting as Aryzona Bay (my given name). That’s like wearing matching band t-shirts to a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert. My bad. Maybe that’s whey I kept posting as (insert pretentious title here) Aryzona. Oh well. Now people will now the true power of Emperor “Salty Meats” Aryzona, Lord of the Imminent Bays, that he can get people to name blogs after him…sort of. If I hadn’t been given that name by my Momma when she was listening to Tool’s Aenima album, and if Maynard Keenan and Bill Hicks had never connected, well I guess I might have a case against you. LOL
Interestingly enough, in a nod to you, my Spartan callsign in the Halo 3 beta was A42. So it would show up in a pregame lobby as ARYZONA BAY (A42), and in-game people would see just A42 above my head. Cool, no?
Nah, that’s like wearing *different* shirts at a concert, but by the same band. Or maybe you’re wearing the jersey shirt and I’m wearing the ringer shirt.
A42, eh?
LOL. ok. I suppose if I knew what a “ringer” shirt was……..
My, my. Is there something my brother doesn’t know?
