Blah blah blah
Another week, another kitten accident
Data continues to test my limits. His latest trick is knocking down the bathroom trash and playing with used Q-tips. Continues to balance his faults by being cute for five minutes a day. Purrs and all. Awwww. Data STOP!
Food is not your friend
I spent the last several days getting over food poisoning. Not really sure what it was, but now I am not really interested in food. Good way to lose some weight if you want to do it entirely through liquids. Would not recommend it.
Letting stuff pile up
I have a tendency to let things I need to file pile up. It would take two seconds to file something, too. Instead, I spent a good 45 minutes this morning sorting through crap. I still have to shred a ton of receipts. And I suspect a big purge of my filing system is in order.
CDs are both fun and hard to break
Got rid of some old backup CDs. At first, I thought it’d be easy to break them. The answer is no. Stepping on them, doesn’t work. Even though if it was your favorite Bowie CD, it would break in a second. Hitting them with a hammer, satisfying, still doesn’t work. Data pokes his head into the bag I’m trying to use to contain the shards. Finally ended up using a method where I would snap them with my hands. There’s a special way to it, a satisfying loud snap that also hurts. Note to self: can we please please please buy a shredder that also shreds CDs?
Use a pair of scissors and put three long scratches on the
CD. That may be easier and just as effective.
