It’s Feb. 29, the day that comes every four years.
I’m always entertained by this alleged extra day, though it really means nothing.
Now, it’d be really something if it could be a universal holiday. Nobody has to work on Feb. 29 simply because it’s the free imaginary day. How does that sound?
It’d be worse than Christmas, [...]

I owe my dad an apology.
This loving man, who just sent me a little diecast Vega as well as a case for my stereo faceplate, is in fact my buddy. He’s a generous, kind-hearted man but occasionally has a nasty gloating streak.

I always wonder how the presidents we’re allegedly honoring would feel to know that their faces are blown up and associated with furniture or cars [...]

I have never been much of a baker, or in fact a cook.
It’s really only since I’ve been out in Fresno for the last three years that I’ve discovered the joy of cooking and sometimes baking.
Cooking isn’t much of a problem. I like to fly fast and loose with recipes. I view them to be [...]

Who knew Bigfoot lived in central California, amongst all the normal people. Blending in, going to work.
Apparently my feet are too big to buy dress shoes in town. I went on a recent quest to buy shoes and got my familiar depression and disappointment at learning once again, I am a giant and therefore cannot [...]
