Always look on the bright side …

Except for when there is no bright side.
Things are just getting worse in the bad news department.
People have been too complacent and comfortable. I have been pursuing other options. Those options aren’t coming fast enough, or are not going to be a reality. Money is a huge issue right now.
What am I going to do with a condo in a market where it won’t sell for nearly what it was bought for?
Everything was so much simpler without a mortgage. I knew I wouldn’t be carefree and mobile any more, but I thought I didn’t care about that. I didn’t want to be mobile. I wanted to have a home.
I still want a home. And I love the home I have now. But maybe that’s not possible any more.

Yes, I feel your pain. Even if I were to get a job, the housing market is scary and no one in the middle class can spend years paying two mortgages. I suspect that employers are going to have to step us and begin helping if they want good hires. I hope they do anyway….
People also say that Congress may have to step in for all these people (it could include us) whose credit may get ruined by this situation. It’s amazing what one small little move can do to the rest of your life.
Todd, I hope you get a good employer willing to help you out. This entire economy is in such a mess. And there’s no bottom in sight.
Mel B., we’ll figure something out. I don’t know what or how, but we’re being proactive, and that should count for something, right? Maybe?
