However, I haven't actually looked to see if Toshiba will let you crack the case; all the paperwork remains untouched. I know HP is really crappy in that regard though. The laptop came with 3 GB of RAM, so there was no need to crack it open. When helping other people select electronics, I don't immediately help them void their warranties. I did void my warranty as soon as I got home with my desktop last year, because I needed to install the wireless card and then a couple weeks later, the graphics card. I didn’t make that clear?
