Too much information

In the category of TMI, I’m going to throw out the pair of underwear I’m wearing when I get home. Or as soon as it’s convenient when I get home.
I am sorta a cheapskate when it comes to undies. Some of them have holes. Some of them have big holes resulting partly from expanding waistline and partly because I wear them for years and years.
This pair is in pretty good condition, except for one little thing. They’re boyshorts and they keep falling down, which is probably exacerbated by the loose jeans I’m wearing.
Someone suggested I just go commando for the rest of the day, and I declined.

I have to admit, I’ve never heard of a woman wearing holey underwear. I always thought this was a man-thing. When my wife and I started sleeping together in college, one of the first things she changed about me was my habits concerning underwear. Rule one: if they have holes, in the trash with them. Rule two: no, I can’t wear the same underwear two days in a row. Rule three: white underwear are strictly forbidden (because they, um, show stains).
My bad habits had nothing to do with money, though. It was just how I lived.
Well, I admit I don’t have a ton of holey underwear, but I do have some. Mostly because of the age of the fabric, rather than what my dad might consider fart blowholes. I’m half expecting my dad, king of underwear, to chime in anyway.
So those are rules your wife imposed on you, then? Um, who wears underwear more than one day? Oh, I remember. Guys.
I also have a no-white underwear rule, for the most part. Only because white underwear are boring, though. Unfortunately, if you buy underwear in a package, many times you end up with that one ugly plain pair of white.
Used to be white was all you could buy in briefs. You had to go the route of bikini briefs (yuck!) or boxers (uncomfortable!) to get some color. These days, Fruit of the Loom and Hanes make as many dark-colored briefs as tighty whiteys. There usually aren’t any whites mixed with the lot. If you want white, you buy an all white package. I prefer black myself.
Always get earth-tone underwear.
But, the darker browns are much better than the light colors such as a beach sand tan.
