		<description>I don't see myself reading Delaney either.  That's why I'm taking along &lt;em&gt;Moby Dick&lt;/em&gt; as a backup.  At least I'm not taking &lt;em&gt;Brideshead Revisited&lt;/em&gt;; if I did, it would mark the third year of trying to make it all the way through that turgid novel.</description>

		<description>I intend to take "Dhalgren" by Delaney and "White Noise" by Delillo.  As a backup, I am taking "Moby Dick."  I just finished reading a book titled "In the Heart of the Sea," which is about the sea disaster on which "Moby Dick" is based.  I'd like to read the novel again; I remember thinking very highly of it when I read it long ago.</description>
