Everyone at work keeps talking about the Daily Show. I actually love the Daily Show, but for some reason, have been unable to catch it for various reasons. Apparently he only shoots wealthy Republicans, however. Democrats, he tells to go fuck themselves. Sigmund Freud would suggest that Whittington came to represent, in Cheney's subconscious mind, all that Cheney secretly loathes in himself: unconstrained power, wealth, a legalistic world view, lack of compassion. Thus his shooting of this rich GOP lawyer was in fact a self-destructive act borne out of a deeply felt self-disgust. That's my analysis, anyway. :) Very funny!
